Dr. Khurram Khan

Dr. Khurram Khan, MD, earned his Bachelor of Science and Medical Doctor degree from the University of Sint Eustatius School of Medicine in the Netherland Antilles. He completed a 3-year residency in Family Medicine at The Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia, followed by formal training in Geriatric Medicine at The University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. With 6 years of practice at the Emory Clinic’s Geriatric Medicine Division, he served as Clinical Instructor and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine, also holding the role of Medical Director of the Domiciliary Care Program.
At Emory’s Geriatric Medicine clinic at the Wesley Woods Outpatient Center, Dr. Khan specialized in diagnosing and caring for adult patients, particularly the elderly, with a focus on improving their care through comprehensive approaches including medication review and enhancing quality of life.
Board certified in Family Medicine and Geriatric Medicine, he is a member of several professional associations including the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Geriatrics Society, and American Medical Directors Association. Dr. Khan also serves as Medical Director at Park Springs CCRC and Peachtree Hills Place Terraces in Atlanta, GA, aiming to elevate awareness of geriatric syndromes and enhance cross-cultural understanding of health issues.
