Nina Sutherland is a board-certified Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. She started her career as a nurse working in acute care at Northeast Georgia Medical Center’s cardiovascular intensive care unit, and later moved to the cardiac catheterization labs of Northside Forsyth and Emory Johns Creek Hospital. As a nurse practitioner, she started her practice caring for the needs of cardiovascular patients in the office setting, and then moved into primary care with a focus on wellness and regenerative care.

Nina earned her BSN from University of North Georgia and her MSN from Walden University. During her graduate program, she further developed her passion for wellness and its application to disease prevention and optimizing health. She is excited to work as a team with her patients at VitalX Wellness in helping them achieve their goals.

Nina is married with one adult son and has two dogs. She enjoys travelling, staying active with yoga and spin, and spending time with family and friends.
